A little about me!

Hi! My name is Z. I am a queer, disabled artist that is always bouncing between a variety of mediums - choosing whichever spark joy in the moment. I have always been a creative. Throughout my childhood, I dabbled in origami, balloon animals, and even card tricks. At 10, I was making wire sculptures and beaded jewelry. I even started to sell some of my work in a gift shop from ages 10 to 13 or so. I began sewing at age 14 after my grandma gave me her previous sewing machine (thanks, grandma). From headbands to zipper pouches and skirts, I was enamored with this new-found creative outlet. I sewed throughout high school, absorbing skills I saw on the internet and - learning mostly from my failures - I learned to sew my own homecoming dresses.

Today, I dabble in jewelry making, sewing and textiles, ceramics, painting, collage, crochet, and anything else I can get my hands on. I am always looking to learn new skills and expand the possibilities of the mediums I am most comfortable with.
